"We don't accept women 'cause you don't have what it takes"

These were the words that the hiring manager used to reject me during my first engineering interview. He was wrong.

In the next 6 years, not only did I become an engineer, I also moved to the US, pivoted careers, got promoted to manager, raised my salary to six-figures and became an investor on track to be a millionaire.

NOW I’M ON A MISSION TO HELP WOMEN GROW THEIR CAREER AND MONEY, ADVOCATE FOR THEIR WORTH AND BUILD WEALTH.

Hi, I'm Fernanda!

I SPENT YEARS BEING UNDERESTIMATED, HELD BACK AND BROKE.

One day at lunch, the newly hired male coworkers that I was training started sharing their salaries, a conversation that made me feel uncomfortable because I was taught that talking about money was bad and rude. Sounds familiar?

What I heard shocked me. By far, I had the lowest salary in the department!

SOMETHING HAD TO CHANGE AND IT HAD TO BE ME.

After switching my mindset, learning strategies to level-up my career, educating myself about personal finances and using my voice to claim my worth, I created Relentless Latina as a platform for women to find tools, resources, actionable strategies and motivation to grow their career and money.

This is what our mamis, tías and abuelas didn’t have access to and everything I wish I’d have known earlier. BIENVENIDA, I’M HAPPY YOU ARE HERE!
